The EMX Strategic Alliance with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Antofagasta plc (“Antofagasta”) in Sweden reached the end of its two year tenure on February 17, 2013, and in March, 2014, Antofagasta advised EMX that it was discontinuing further funding of the Kiruna South and Iekelvare Designated Projects (see Company news releases dated February 18, 2011 and April 25, 2013). Termination Agreements for the Strategic Alliance and remaining Designated Projects are now being prepared.
