Buenavista

The Buenavista property (previously Block 4) is situated along the Domeyko Cordillera porphyry copper belt in northern Chile, which is host to some of the world’s largest copper deposits and mines. The property occupies a large land position located between the giant Escondida and Salvador districts.

A central magnetic high within the property is coincident with a Tertiary aged dacite porphyry with quartz veinlet stockwork. Copper-oxide occurrences are found exposed in outcrops and trenches to the west and north (Cu-Ag-Au anomalies). 

Limited drilling (3 x DDH) by a previous owner intercepted hydrothermal alteration and mineralization indicative of the upper parts of a porphyry copper system in all three holes. Multiple, narrow Au-Ag-Cu and Mo intercepts confirm a high-sulphidation epithermal style of mineralization in transition to a porphyry system. Drill intercepts include 8 m at 0.12% Cu, 0.32 g/t Au, and 5.9 g/t Ag from 174.18 m depth (BV02), as well as up to 4 m at 574 ppm Mo from 656 m (BV03).*

Buenavista contains multiple untested targets within the proven fertile system, including the central Buenavista target, further geophysical anomalies (magnetics and IP) under cover, which may be potential porphyry targets, and the peripheral Cu-oxide occurrences.

EMX acquired the property from Revelo Resources in 2020 (see EMX Press Release dated March 26, 2020). Future exploration plans include completing several geophysical surveys to better evaluate the geology under the post-mineral gravel cover and drill testing of the best anomalies.

**The nearby deposits provide geologic context for EMX’s Project, but this is not necessarily indicative that the Project hosts similar tonnages or grades of mineralization
