Asset Portfolio

Hunter 1-12 / Cassiar Gold Property

EMX holds a 2.5% NSR royalty on the Hunter 1-12 claims within the Cassiar Gold Project in northern British Columbia. It is owned and operated by Cassiar Gold Corp. (TSX-V: GLDC; “Cassiar”). The Hunter 1-12 royalty asset covers ten claim blocks within the Cassiar North area of the Cassiar Gold Property. The primary exploration target in the Cassiar North area is the Taurus deposit, which is a large, bulk-tonnage opportunity with high-grade vein targets. The royalty asset covers the Sable, Plaza, Gap, and 88 Hill zones, as well as portions of the Taurus West (Northwest Zone), 88 West (West Zone and Southwest Zone), and Highway zones.

Historical production** from the Taurus mine between 1981 and 1988 totaled 34,000 oz Au at an average grade of 4.11 g/t Au. The most current inferred resource estimate for the Taurus area is 21.830 Mtonnes at an average grade of 1.43 g/t Au totaling 1 Moz Au, and the deposit remains open laterally in all directions. Mr. Scott Zelligan, P. Geo and Qualified Person has prepared the report. Cassiar’s 2021 drilling campaign confirmed the presence of continuous zones of higher-grade, shallow gold mineralization in the Northwest, 88 Hill, and Gap zones and tested prospective mineralization corridors where the resource remains open. Cassiar is actively advancing the Taurus deposit, with an active mine permit and a fully permitted existing mill, capable of processing 300 tons per day.

*Note: The nearby mines and deposits in the region provide context for EMX’s royalty asset, which occurs in a similar geologic setting, but this is not necessarily indicative that the project hosts similar mineralization.

**The above resource data was from the Margaux Resources Ltd., 2019. NI-43-101 Technical Report on the Cassiar Gold Project. Effective date: 10 September 2019. QP: Mr. Scott Zelligan. EMX has not done sufficient work to classify the intercepts as compliant with NI 43-101 regulation, and these results should not be relied upon until they are confirmed. However, EMX believes these results to be reliable and relevant.
