Spike E Hills, Arizona

Spike E Hills is a porphyry copper project located in southeastern Arizona approximately 10 km northwest of Wilcox. Nearby historic drilling identified sparse supergene copper mineralization near the outcropping advanced argillic alteration. Deeper exploration holes targeting hypogene mineralization routinely drilled into less intense alteration with depth.

A new structural model accounts for extreme post-mineral extension that was poorly understood by previous explorers. EMX is targeting well-mineralized (i.e. high sulfidation assemblages, supergene enrichment) portions of the dismembered porphyry system in fault blocks northeast of historic exploration.

Note: The drilling in the region provide geologic context for EMX’s Project, but this is not necessarily indicative that the Project hosts similar mineralization.
